1)Place the chicken in a large bowl.
2)Add yoghurt, turmeric, garam masala, pepper powder and salt.
3)Mix well together and keep aside for 30 mins.
4)Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
5)Saute ginger and garlic, till brown.
6)Add the marinated chicken.
7)Close with a lid and cook, till the chicken is almost done.
8)Remove the lid and allow the water to get absorbed.
9)Remove from flame, when the chicken is cooked and there is enough gravy to coat the chicken.
:- This dish is not a gravy dish. You can alter the amount of pepper and garam masala according to your taste.
